Hillier progress report

The kiosk on Station Road in Hillier. Still to come are the planting of a suitable shade tree, interior imagery such as area historical and cultural information, a wetlands map, and a plaque celebrating all the donors who helped fund the Trail and make it what it is today. The partially completed kiosk at Hillier. Thank you to our dedicated team of volunteers. Work is on-going. The washroom is in place at this site. The Silver Chain Challenge is an annual event that invites municipalities across Eastern Ontario to engage in a friendly competition from June 1 through June 30 to inspire and promote a more active lifestyle. Trail Damage

This week we were informed by several Trail users of on-going acts involving large machinery in lands abutting the Trail. A letter was sent to the officials who might have jurisdiction or an interest in the Provincially Significant Wetlands that surround the Trail.
